for over 60’s OR unemployed!
A 4 week course running between 10 – 12.30 on Wednesdays covering…
soup & bread, curry from scratch, simple mince meals, simple puddings.

Pick up new skills, gain inspiration or just do something different with our hands on cookery courses, all abilities welcome. Each course includes tasters and light meal along with goodies to take home and recipe sheets.

£20.00 deposit on all courses and remaining balance to be paid 14 days before start of course.
Please note that due to Covid-19, some of the cookery courses listed below will have to be rescheduled at a later date. Those due to take place from September onwards will only go ahead if government guidelines allow, and it’s safe to do so.

Plant Based Cookery £39.00 – Date to be rescheduled in due course
Learn new ideas to help with more meat free meals and decadent puddings made without sugar, gluten and dairy. Menu includes Spanish butter bean casserole, mushroom risotto, quinoa pilaf, dips and a chocolate and raspberry tart.
Mid Week Mains £39.00 – Date to be rescheduled in due course
Mix up your mid week meals with these quick and easy 30 minute meals, all perfect to freeze too so you can batch cook. Menu includes Pork & Apple casserole, Parmagiana Chicken, Moroccan Sausage stew, Keema Beef Curry, Breton chicken. Pick up tips on bulk cooking and getting lots of hidden vegetables into meals. Includes a light meal.
Fermenting & Raw Food £39.00 – Date to be rescheduled in due course
Discover the health benefits of adding fermented foods to your diet and creating side dishes loaded with goodness. Menu includes Kefir, kombucha, Kimchi, anti fungal dressings, and more.
Freefrom Baking £39.00 10am – 2pm Sat 19th September – To be confirmed
Learn how to make quick breads, perfect pastry, moist bakes and cakes that are gluten free and sugar free. Menu includes Parsnip bread, Quiche, Carrot Cake, Apricot and almond frangipani.
Kids Half Term Cookery £29.00 10am – 1pm Wed 28th October – To be confirmed
An autumn themed workshop creating soup, bread rolls, chicken pie and apple tart.
Christmas Cookery £49.00 10am – 2pm Wed 25th November – To be confirmed
Pick up hints and tips on making Christmas dinner hassle free, along with canapés and decadent deserts.
