If you want to learn how to make curry from scratch, perfect your chocolate making skills or feel inspired to try new flavours then spend a couple of hours at the Healthaspire kitchen with author of ‘The Real Food Cookbook’ Ellen Picton. Ellen will teach you how to make meals from scratch that you will get to take home along with recipe.

Options include

Curry banquet – Chicken korma, vegetable bhuna and baked onion bhaji.

Spanish banquet – Chicken and chorizo stew, spiced potato and roast nuts.

Thai banquet – Fish laksa curry, filled rice pancakes and dipping sauces.

Chocolate heaven – French chocolate mouse, rich chocolate brownies and chocolate truffle making.

Includes a 2 hour workshop, all ingredients, recipes and a meal for two people.

Group cooking workshop

for anyone and everyone

A 4 week course with a group of up to 10 people covering basic kitchen skills and themes from around the world.

6 – 8.30pm Tuesday evenings  |  £40 for 4 weeks – includes all ingredients

Pick up new skills, gain inspiration or just do something different with our hands on cookery courses, all abilities welcome. Each course includes tasters and light meal along with goodies to take home and recipe sheets.

Easter Kids Cookery £29.00  10am – 1pm Wed 15th April

Gets hands on with this kids cookery workshop, we will be creating and Easter themed picnic including frittata, scotch eggs, bread rolls, fruit tart and more. Lunch provided. Suitable for ages 8 – 16 years.


Plant Based Cookery £39.00  –  10am – 2pm – Wed 29th April

Learn new ideas to help with more meat free meals and decadent puddings made without sugar, gluten and dairy. Menu includes Spanish butter bean casserole, mushroom risotto, quinoa pilaf, dips and a chocolate and raspberry tart.


Mid Week Mains £39.00 –  6pm – 9pm Wed 3rd May

Mix up your mid week meals with these quick and easy 30 minute meals, all perfect to freeze too so you can batch cook. Menu includes Pork & Apple casserole, Parmagiana Chicken, Moroccan Sausage stew, Keema Beef Curry, Breton chicken. Pick up tips on bulk cooking and getting lots of hidden vegetables into meals. Includes a light meal.


Fermenting & Raw Food   £39.00    10am-2pm   Sat 4th July
Discover the health benefits of adding fermented foods to your diet and creating side dishes loaded with goodness. Menu includes Kefir, kombucha, Kimchi, anti fungal dressings, and more.


Freefrom Baking £39.00   10am – 2pm    Sat 19th September
Learn how to make quick breads, perfect pastry, moist bakes and cakes that are gluten free and sugar free. Menu includes Parsnip bread, Quiche, Carrot Cake, Apricot and almond frangipani.


Kids Half Term Cookery £29.00   10am – 1pm Wed 28th October

An autumn themed workshop creating soup, bread rolls, chicken pie and apple tart.


Christmas Cookery £49.00 10am – 2pm Wed 25th November

Pick up hints and tips on making Christmas dinner hassle free, along with canapés and decadent deserts.
